PARA TABLE TENNIS


OVERVIEW
Para table tennis follows the usual table tennis rules with only slight modifications. This sport is open to people with upper and lower limb paralysis, cerebral palsy, amputees and other physical impairments like multiple sclerosis and muscular dystrophy.

Two Exciting Programmes

An introductory, fun and inclusive 4-week Para table tennis programme delivered by Table Tennis Canterbury.

Serve, Spin, Smash! is for those with physical impairments, all ages & abilities, using table tennis to maximise confidence and enjoyment.

We are also excited to work with Blind Low Vision NZ to offer 4-weeks of Swish Table Tennis, a fun and challenging sport which can be played by those with vision impairments. It varies slightly from regular table tennis.

Para table tennis coaching sessions are delivered for all ages and abilities at the Table Tennis Stadium on Tuesday's and Saturday's.

ParaFed Canterbury works with sports clubs and organisations to offer Para sport opportunities to our members. In most cases, members will require a classification before becoming involved in competitive Para sport.
