ParaFed Canterbury is fortunate to have use of the Hydrotherapy Pool at Burwood Hospital for two sessions each week. The pool is heated and has ramped access.

The Hydrotherapy Pool sessions will start back on Wednesday 25th March 2026.

These sessions are available for members who have a physical disability and are for social, recreational or hydrotherapy swimming only. Note: These sessions are not for continuous lap swimming.

Wednesday 4.30 - 6.30pm
Sunday 1.00 - 2.30pm

$2 per swim, payable to our lifeguards

Burwood Hospital, Mairehau Road, Entry 3, Christchurch

Pool users must pay their annual ParaFed Canterbury subscription ($40) + $2 per session per swimmer (caregivers are free). Members who require caregivers in the pool must ensure they are actively supervised at all times (within 1.5m).
