William Stedman and Nicole Murray have been selected by their team-mates to be the NZ Paralympic Team flagbearers for the Paris 2024 Closing Ceremony. Both were successful with medal-winning performances in their finals, and clearly made an impression on the wider Team.

As Raylene Bates, NZ Chef de Mission explained: “Will and Nicole are two popular members of the Team who have been enjoyed outstanding Games. The fact that the Team have voted them to be Closing Ceremony flagbearers will mean the world to both of them and they’ll look back on Paris 2024 with many amazing memories which will last a lifetime.”
