The Phil Humphreys Most Valued Volunteer Award, sponsored by the Wharenui Sports Centre, recognises a volunteer’s outstanding contribution to ParaFed Canterbury and to our programmes.

At our Awards Function last week, Donald Corkill received this year's Most Valued Volunteer Award.

Donald gives up his Tuesdays for the majority of the year, to ensure we can offer the Shooting Club to our members. He lives in Scargill so completes the over two hour drive each week to run our Shooting Club. Donald manages the club’s equipment, runs the club competitions, and communicates weekly with our members.

The Shooting Club would not function without him and we are thankful for all the incredible work that he does.

Congratulations Donald and thank you to all our volunteers that help ParaFed Canterbury do amazing things each year.
