Sport and Recreation for people with physical disabilities

The Burwood Hospital Hydrotherapy pool is available for our members to use for recreational swimming.

The ParaFed Swimming Sessions are for those who are unable to use public pools due to the pool environment or access issues. Therefore if you are able to swim more than 10 lengths consecutively this session is not for you.

The Burwood Pool Sessions are at the following times:

Wednesday 4.30 - 6.30pm

Sunday 1.00 - 2.30pm

The cost to attend is $2 per session per swimmer (caregivers are free)

ParaFed provides a paid lifeguard to ensure your safety at these sessions.

Caregivers (in the pool) must actively supervise at all times (within 1.5m at all times).
