The Paralympics New Zealand National Championships are held every two years and include a numbers of sports events. These Champs were first held in Auckland 1968. These are an important development event for young, aspiring athletes to compete against senior athletes and Paralympians.

New Zealand National Championships held in Hamilton between the 3-
ParaFed Canterbury was represented by 28 athletes from the Canterbury region from Timaru to Nelson.
We had a hugely successful event with great results, PB’s, NZ records, medals and awards.
The Canterbury Team came 3rd overall in the points table
