Lawn Bowls is not actually a Paralympic or Olympic Sport, but is played at the Commonwealth Games. However, Lawn Bowls is recognised by the International Paralympic Committee as a sport available to people with disabilities.
Spinal cord injured athletes, amputee, blind athletes and people with cerebral palsy.
Blind athletes can have sighted guides to assist with placement on the mat and with information on the bowl and jack placement on the green.
